These works begin as physical acrylic paintings built through layered gestures, erasure, and chance. I photograph those paintings and use the camera as a tool of discovery rather than documentation, searching for perceptual possibilities hidden within the analog surface. Through cropping, digital transformation, and hand-finished textures, each image becomes a new work that exists between painting and photography. My practice isn’t about representing reality but expanding the ways it can be perceived, allowing viewers to actively construct meaning rather than receive a fixed interpretation.

I’m at a point where the work has become consistent enough that my focus has shifted from experimentation to building a sustainable career around it. Over the past year I’ve developed a cohesive body of work, exhibited internationally, and am preparing applications to leading MFA programs while pursuing gallery representation. I’m looking for thoughtful feedback on how the work is perceived from the outside—how to present it with greater clarity, strengthen my portfolio, and better position it within the contemporary art world without losing what makes the practice distinct.
